Playing with light, shaders

I was just messing around with the mia_x shader. I didn't use any lights. Instead there are unrendered objects in the scene that emit light. Final Gather takes care of the rest.

My Current Work

It's been a while! My work on Ethereal is currently complete and the game is now, largely out of my hands. I'm back at school and working on something totally different, called Crescendo.


Crescendo is a client based project working with Smilegate, a Korean game developer. Smilegate would like us to create an experience for children and families that encourages cooperation, brings people together, and gives players the feeling of playing real instruments without requiring them to have the skills of a musician.

Ethereal Helmets

Now we have some helmets for the Ethereal faction. You can see all of these in action by playing the Ethereal Beta. You can spot some export errors on these, which I will hopefully have time to fix.

New helmets for the rebels. Adds a bit more variety to your armor selection and it makes the player's head look proportional :P

Ethereal Weapons and Armor

Tons of new work from Project Ethereal. There's more than this but I can't think of it at the moment.


The game's default weapon, the club. Cheap, but you'd better bring a shield too.



This is the langseax, one of the new unlockable weapons. It is the longest of the stabbing type weapons.

The chain mail armor set for the Rebels. One of my favorite looking sets so far.
